The American Folk Art Festival has come and gone and my head is still buzzing. Okay, maybe I can put a bit of the blame on the delicious Cabernet tasting after the show, but mostly my head is spinning from sensory overload. Thank you Susan, from the Madonna Estate Winery, for being our fearless ringmaster from behind the curtain under the big white tent. Susan would be the first to admit that it takes a village but I know that every village needs a chief. Thank you to both collectors and counterparts who traveled far, battled traffic or merely walked across the street to attend the show. I am and always will be grateful for your kind smiles, encouraging remarks, shared insights and the joyful connections that we all make in this pursuit of an artful life.
