The American black man has a distinguishable walk that exudes a certain amount of class, style, swag, and lots of confidence. Today strolling the streets of Hong Kong my friend and I spotted an older black gentleman. Immediately we knew by his walk he was a black American. His stride was smooth and deliberate with a slight bop in his step. When we caught up to him he told us he was from Chicago and a graduate of Howard University. He was retired and touring Asia for 3 months. He went on to invite us to lunch where he shared 2 important life lessons with us. The first one was We work to live, not live to work! Which simply means take time for yourself to refresh your spirit. The second lesson was When negative people come into your space and if you ask them to leave and they dont...you need to leave. If you stay youll end up paying with regret. Mr. Jackson you were such a bright spot in our day today. #BlackMenHaveSwag
