The American establishment media have defaulted on their watchdog responsibility to protect the public from incompetent and corrupt officials by exposing those who violate accepted legal, ethical or performance standards. Like Pravda in the days of the Soviet Union, the American press has become the propaganda arm of the political elite. They do not report the news in an accurate and impartial way in order to inform the public, but distort or suppress what was said or done by presenting a knowingly misleading version of events. It is now the duty of ordinary Americans to gather and report the truth because both the government and the media will not do so. This blog will report information about Benghazi supplied by citizen journalists and worthy of further investigation. 09 May 2014 - Was the US Navy conducting anti-piracy operations nearby Libya on September 11, 2012? Were Navy SEALs part of the operation and were they ready, locked and loaded that night to go in and assist, but were told to stand down? 10 May 2014 - Did Secretary of State Hillary Clinton more than once either directly or through surrogates contact medical personnel caring for Benghazi casualties to inquiry about the names of the people who were trying to talk to the patients?
