The Anambra State House Of Assembly issued an edict by the request and subsequent approval of past Gov. Peter Obi concerning that land. Anglicans have worshipped in that land for 24years now, no contention from the government. The Obi administration gave the school premises accommodating the church building to Anglicans in the recent hand-over of schools to Missions. The Oze community (Landlords of the place) has continued to maintain that they gave that land to Anglicans. All the necessary documents attesting to the fact that the said space of land belong to the Anglicans were given to Obiano when he requested for them. Truth is that the land is in a strategic position and the RCM feels we should not occupy such a site. They instigated Obi to take the place from us, he tactfully evaded them knowing it would create a problem for his administration. They are now using Obiano through one Eluemuno. Obiano feels he can intimidate us out of that place but he is a joker. Those who pretend to be objective but make subjective comments can continue playing politics with a matter of this magnitude. By the way, assuming we dont have all the necessary documents, does it justify the governments order to pull down our place of worship in a place we have occupied for 24years now? The Governor visited Nkwelle Ezunaka on Sunday, the building was pulled down on Monday. Is it not a case of the witch crying in the night and the baby dying in the morning? We are ready for all the perpetrators of wickedness in Anambra State. We are ready to defend our possessions with our blood this time around. Why they always have it easy with us is because our leaders dont allow us to talk or act, but this time, we are determined to DISOBEY our leaders and do the right thing. They feel they are controlling the media - ABS, NTA, MINAJ, etc. but they cannot control the social media. The RCM is presently building church structures in primary schools that were not even given to them by the government - nobody is harassing them! They have taken over most of the Community schools in our state - nobody is talking. They are raising a building inside Modebe Secondary School Onitsha, which is an Anglican property - nobody is harassing them. The government of the day approves of all the illegalities committed by the RCM but has vowed not to allow us possess what is rightfully ours. We cannot accept to become second class citizens in our own state and people should know this!!!
