The Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund is announcing that the Fifth Annual Steve Jasker Memorial Golf Outing originally scheduled September 30 at Village Links of Glen Ellyn, has been canceled to due circumstances beyond the charity’s control. Golfers who signed up for the event are entitled to a full refund of their fees. Companies and individuals who donated raffle prizes for the event should contact the Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund about the status of their donation. The Andrea Lynn Cancer Fund has other great fundraising events coming up this fall, including the Pumpkin Stampede 5K run/walk on October 13. Runners and walkers will take their mark at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 13 for the Fifth Annual Pumpkin Stampede 5K run/walk at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake. This event features awards for the overall male and female winner and custom medals for first, second, and third place male and female winners in each division. Registration for the Pumpkin Stampede is now open at pumpkinstampede; same-day registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. on race day. In addition to the awards ceremony, post-race festivities include a DJ, complimentary snacks, and the opportunity to sign the “Who Do You Run For?” memorial banner, in honor of loved ones who have or are currently battling cancer.~BB
