The Angel who lost her wings She wished she could fly again. So used to her solitude as she soared high over the wilderness, over the oceans, over the happy and sad faces, over peaks, over dawns and dusks, sky was not her limit. Oh! Didnt she miss it all! A few have seen her tears streaming down. They offered her their love and condolences. Just like everything else in this universe...they all disappeared in time and space. Death is inevitable and so is destiny. Very soon she learned to accept that her wings were not meant to last forever. She dived in the ocean, got lost in the wilds, let the raindrops caress her emotions, sang along to the melody of the laughter of children, felt the first dewdrop tickle her nose and surrendered herself to the lyre of the soft breeze. Finally she climbed the highest mountain that no man could have ever reached. She stretched out her arms wide open, let the wind whisper in her ears, closed her eyes and reached out to her heart. In her mind, she was flying over undiscovered islands where no human had ever stepped on, she was flying over seas where the mermaids hailed to her, she was flying across the universe where light burst into different hues creating their own music. Yes! She felt it all once again. With her stretched arms on top of the world and a mind stronger than her wings she once again experienced what she had missed forever. You, I and everyone is that angel. Often do we blame others and circumstances for what we have lost. But what lasts forever? Nor you, nor I nor everyone else. We need to climb that unreachable peak, cherish the beauties around us and have a strong mind that knows no limits. You are angelic. You just need to discover the wings inside you!
