The Anne Springs Close Greenway is gearing up for their summer concert seriies on Thursday. On Thursday, July 11, the Anne Springs Close Greenway invites visitors to bring a picnic supper and listen to the bluegrass gospel of The Hinson Girls, a band of four sisters gaining popularity across the Charlotte region. Kicking off summer weekends early, the monthly concert series features a variety of music and offers a 90-minute getaway on the second Thursday of each month, through September. Set in a pasture near the iconic 1947 Dairy Barn, concerts will move inside the barn in the event of rain. Music begins at 6:15 p.m., and remaining concerts include Moonshine Racers (Aug. 8) and Caleb Davis (Sept. 12). Visitors are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Soda, beer and wine will be available. Well-behaved dogs on 6-foot leashes are always welcome on the Greenway. Members get in free, and cost for non-members is $3. Concerts take place at 288 Dairy Barn Lane, Fort Mill. For information, please call 803-547-4575 or go to: ASCGreenway.org
