The Apostasy of Francis and the Neo-SSPX’s Silence It has been about five months now since the election of Francis. Since then, we’ve witnessed just about everything a Traditional Catholic could dread, from him bringing back that blasphemous bent crucifix to him placing restrictions on the ability of Franciscans to celebrate the TLM. “World Youth Day” was particularly despicable, with dancing bishops and a beach ball being placed on Our Lady’s altar. While all of these atrocious things are taking place, one cannot help but wonder “Where the heck is any criticism from the SSPX”?. As the list of blasphemies committed by Francis and the satanic conciliar church grows, the Neo-SSPX continues to remain silent. When their news site known as “DICI” finally commented on something Francis had done, it was just a summary of the events at World Youth Day. No criticisms of any of his actions, just a mere summary. What has happened to the fighting spirit they used to have? A deal with Rome is no longer in the cards, yet the Neo-SSPX has still not recovered from the softening of their position from 2009-2012 to make way for an agreement. Bishop Fellay and the Society continue to sit back and watch as Francis commits blasphemy after blasphemy. It’s worth keeping in mind that tolerance of heresy can be just as bad as one being a heretic. Bishop Fellay is not a heretic, but by refusing to condemn the disgusting actions of Francis, he is basically tolerating heresy or giving the impression that he tolerates it. Just like in 2011, when Fr. Chazal asked Bishop Fellay if he was going to come out strong in condemning Assisi III, to which he replied “no” due to the negotiations with the Vatican. And they tell us nothing has changed! Archbishop Lefebvre didn’t let his dealings with Rome prevent him from strongly condemning the first Assisi meeting in 1986. Anyone who truly believes that nothing has changed in the Society is extremely ignorant, to put it mildly. The facts indicate that much has changed for the worst, no doubt about it. People are free to keep their heads in the sand if they’d like, but you certainly can’t ignore the facts. So, at some point, the Neo-SSPX must break their silence and condemn what needs to be condemned. Francis’s actions cannot be excused. Let us recall what St. Francis de Sales once said: “The declared enemies of God and His Church, heretics and schismatics, must be criticized as much as possible, as long as truth is not denied.
