The Applied Learning Pathway is a qualification aimed at those students who prefer creative and enterprising approaches to learning. This pathway is a pre-university qualification for young people to apply for university level applied learning courses. The centrepiece is the Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) qualification. ESF schools offer subjects such as Art and Design; Business; Creative Media; Digital Media, Fashion and Clothing; Performing Arts; Sport and Exercise Sciences; Engineering and Travel and Tourism.
