The Arkansas Childrens Hospital Dental Sealant Program provides at-risk children in the elementary school setting with a dental screening, fluoride application, dental sealants if indicated, a goody bag, and referrals for additional care. Beginning 2 years ago, the program now serves 53 schools, with plans to expand its reach when the necessary funds become available.
