The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality is holding a contest to find a slogan that conveys the importance of recycling and encourages people to participate. Please help us get the word out so that contest judges have an assortment of great slogans to consider. The slogan will be used to develop a logo and outreach materials that will bring attention to recycling in Arkansas and remind people to recycle. The logo and outreach materials will be available for anyone in the state to use to promote recycling. A flyer about the contest and an official entry form are attached. Additional information, including official rules, is available on the ADEQ website – adeq.state.ar.us. The contest is open to everyone, so please distribute the attached materials to anyone who might be interested. While you are at it, why not enter the contest yourself? But, act quickly; the contest deadline is Monday, June 16.
