The Armed Forces Bikers (AFB) is a United Kingdom based motorcycle - TopicsExpress

The Armed Forces Bikers (AFB) is a United Kingdom based motorcycle charity which aims to assist former serving members of the armed forces in charitable need as a result of injury or other harmful experience suffered during their service, to resettle and rehabilitate into civilian life, also to relieve the needs of former members of the armed forces and their families. The AFB was set up in 2012, as a charity, with a target of helping veterans to the tune of £27,000 in mind. We have now doubled that and there is much more to come. Funds granted to veterans in charitable need to date £55,299.00 This charity, as well as supporting numerous other military charities in their efforts has the unique ability through its grant system to provide monies very quickly that is urgently needed for things such as accomodation bonds when the larger charities normally take too long when the need is immediate. Our trustees have the power to investigate and grant money for such things very quickly. I. Geoff Carney aka Rainman, a member of the above Charity Motorcycle Club am raising funds for this very worthy cause by attempting to lose at least eleven and a half pounds in weight during a ten week period begining on Thursday 7th August 2014. Progress can be seen on my facebook page where I will upload my attendance card from lite4life weigh-in weekly as my cover photo each Thursday P.M.
