The Armed Services Blood Program’s mission is run by an oil rig worker, a retail store manager, an emergency room nurse and 16 other people with a hodgepodge of skills and they are all Army Reserve Soldiers—the only blood collection center in the DOD that’s manned solely by Army reservists.
