The Arrowhead High School Field Hockey & Lacrosse Turf Committee is very excited to share the news that the AHS School Board voted earlier this evening to provide funding towards the infrastructure of our project in the amount of $500,000. We would like to thank the school board for their willingness to support this endeavor and their vision in planning for the current and future needs of our student athletes. At this point, the committee has raised $843,000 and we are very grateful for those donors. We still have a deficit that has to be met very soon in order to move forward with this project in January. The amount needed can be calculated to be about $800 per athlete. Please consider submitting your donation now. Any amount is appreciated! You can also help with the fundraising effort by asking businesses (employers’ matching grants?) or acquaintances for donations. We thank you in advance for your contribution and assistance in fundraising. Our sons and daughters are fortunate to have such a wonderful community that continually supports their efforts, both on and off the field.
