The Arvada Fire Protection District Board election was held on May 6, 2014. The election was for 3 positions on the 5-person board. A record 10 candidates were up for these positions. This was a record number of voters to vote for an election that did not involve a mill levy question. The final unofficial abstract of votes was as follows: Jeff Van Es 516 Bob Loveridge 462 Don Taylor 181 Matt M. Kramer 686 William (Bill) Hineser 363 Tom Marks 259 Bob Wilson 434 Geoffrey Gardella 425 Russell Weisfield 287 Steve Legault 204 Matt Kramer, Jeff Van Es, and Bob Loveridge elected to a 4-year term. Thanks to everyone who came out to vote in this election. The new District Board members will be sworn in at the June 2nd meeting.
