Thanks to Sunil Kumar Aledia of Centre for Holistic Development - CHD for collating the data from ZIPNET to get the figures of deaths of the homeless. Its been a tough and a difficult work to go through each record, see the pictures and classify month wise, then year wise etc. WE dont want to see any more CityMakers (homeless residents) dying on Delhi or any other cities roads / footpaths. Remember Delhis Chief Secretary today is the same D M Spolia (who in 2009 was the Revenue Secretary) who asked us on 27th Nov., 2009, when we asked him to put over 70 shelters that year: दिल्ली में ठण्ड पड़ती कहाँ हैं, ठण्ड होती हैं आनंद लेने के लिए.(Where do you have winters in Delhi? Winters are meant to be enjoyed). Delhi is under the LG Shri Najib Jung (who doesnt listen to us) and Mr. D M Spolia. What better can we expect?
