The August ruling was seen as a victory for small farmers, setting a precedent that would allow them to negotiate with power companies. As we advocate new investments to support clean energy development and clean energy jobs, we must demand that the process is fair, that transmission routes follow corridors of least impact and that stakeholders/landowners receive fair treatment and just compensation.
