The Australasian World Music Expo (AWME) is encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to apply. Want to play #AWME2014? Artists that have showcased at AWME since 2008 have since been able to access export, touring and festival opportunities such as Glastonbury (UK), Fuji Rock (Japan), Winnipeg Folk Festival (Canada), Calgary Folk Music Festival (Canada), Sierra Nevada World Music Festival (USA), various WOMADs, GlobalFEST (USA), Sakifo Festival (Reunion Island), Sziget Festival (Hungary), Ulsan World Music Festival (South Korea), Colours of Ostrava Festival (Czech Republic), Big Chill (UK), Sfinks Mixed (Belgium), numerous Australian festivals including Bluesfest, WOMADelaide, Woodford Folk Festival, Port Fairy Folk Music Festival, Boomerang, Adelaide Festival of the Arts and many more.
