The Australian Highland Games Championships have a new Champion. COngratulations to Scott Martin. Scott has had a great first year in HG taking out the South Pacific Championships in March, The East Coast Championships in September and the Australian Championships yesterday. Scott won 6 of the 7 events taking second to Moe Westmoreland in the caber. The day was a very, dusty day with strong winds. Crowds were very small unfortunately. 6 athletes contested the event the field reduced due to injury and other commitments. Scott took an easy victory, Moe second, Aaron Monks took third over Lance Holland Keen with Clive Hutcheon and Steve Henry following. Some great throwing by all the guys.
