The Australian Swim Team has finished off a successful Fina World Short Course Championships in Doha tonight with a stirring silver medal to the womens 4x100m medley relay. The team of Madi Wilson, Sally Foster, Emily Seebohm and Bronte Campbell finished second to Denmark. In a makeshift team, Seebohm, who has swum backstroke in so many of Australias Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games successes lined up in the butterfly leg, with Australias second ranked backstroker Wilson giving Australia a great start. The silver came after Seebohm and Campbell had won respective silver medals in their 50m backstroke and 50m freestyle finals. Seebohm finished the meet with four silvers and a bronze; Wilson with a silver and a bronze and Campbell with two silvers while Mitch Larkin finished with a gold and a bronze. The mens 4x100m medley relay team of Mitch Larkin, Jake Packard, Tommaso DOrsogna and Cameron McEvoy gave Australia a great shot, finishing sixth, with Brazil winning the gold. Overall the 20-strong Australian team finished with 1 Gold, 5 Silver and 2 bronze medals.
