The Authenticity of the Bible It is a direct insult to God to say the Bible cannot be trusted because man wrote it and messed it up. If God is Creator of every single atom in the Universe, has every hair on your head numbered, is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, knows your thoughts, knows your heart, controls which way the wind blows, has no limitations of time and dimension, knows every second of every day since before the beginning of time and has direct control of every situation in the whole history and future of time; and knows and wills the outcome. I think He would be able to keep His only word, our instruction manuel for life, un faltered and the true word of the One True Living God; dont you? I dont see God sitting in the Heavens watching man screw up the Bible and Him saying Well they messed it up. Guess everyone is pretty screwed now. Come on give Him some credit; I mean He is God. You might as well say there is no God because that is the implications of your claim. You cannot be a real Christian and not believe in the Bible. The authenticity of the Bible is proven by the very manner it convicts ones spirit. Those who read the Holy scriptures are constantly being refined, renewed, and reborn. The words contained in the books that make the Bible convicts a person to examine the true nature within ones heart. The Bible teaches man how to live Christ like which is usually the opposite of what your flesh wants and it tells you the number one commandment is love, as exactly as what it should be if it is truly from God. In order to qualify in my book as God you have to be perfect and a perfect God would tell you that love is the most important thing. You can tell where a person is with God just by mentioning the Bible. A spirit filled born again believer will hold this Book close to his heart and cherish it more than gold or silver. It is easier for a person to say it cant be trusted rather than have faith it is real and take heed to it and live by the words contained in it. It is easier to walk in the flesh than it is to walk in the spirit. That is exactly why the Bible says the path is narrow and few find it. Christians who have truly found God and are truly born again desire nothing more than to see those who are not saved get saved because they have felt the spirit of God. They know He lives and they know what it means for those who have not given their heart to Jesus and put their trust in Him as their Lord and Savior. It is the will of our Father to save the lost and when we accept Him in our heart His will becomes our will. It is the only reason we live; for the unsaved. We share the word of God because we love you and do not want to see you suffer. Many may not go about it the right way, but there is not one who walk among you that is perfect. We are all sinners who need the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. If you do not trust the words in the Scriptures and deny Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior I have but one question for you. Are you prepared for the consequences if you are wrong? Matthew 5:6- Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 7:7-8- Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
