The Awe Inspiring Acrobatics of Cirque Zuma Zuma are Coming to the Lancaster Performing Arts Center for One Day Only Cirque Zuma Zuma has been described as an African-style Cirque du Soleil, combining the mysticism and magic of African culture with the excitement of theatrical circus performances. Acrobats, tumblers, lion dancers, contortionists, singers and gymnasts will all come together in a dazzling spectacle of color and sound at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center on Sunday, October 19 at 3 p.m. After traveling the world as an acrobat, circus and street performer, John Jacob returned to Africa to audition talented youngsters from sixteen African nations. Jacob founded a training school and circus with the goal of creating an affordable African Cirque style spectacle. With the standard of the performers and the quality of the show’s live musical score, audiences from Europe to Australia agree, Cirque Zuma Zuma is unlike anything you have ever seen before.
