The BBC has been accused of using a tax breaks scheme to increase its public funding. Yesterday it emerged the corporation has set up artificial companies to attract tax credits, prompting claims that it is behaving in a similar manner to huge private firms such as Google, Starbucks and Amazon. The broadcaster has already saved more than £500,000 according to reports, with a share of up to £265million over five years available. The same coporation that tries to incriminate people for not paying a TV license of £140 a year.
