The BC Interior Horse Rescue Society needs your help! We are urgently trying to raise funds to cover the cost of deworming and vaccinating all 10 of our horses. In addition, from our assessment we believe that 6 out of our 10 horses likely require dental work (floating), which is scheduled for the end of June. We estimate the cost of this to be upwards of $1600, a very large amount for a small rescue like us. Want to Help? There are several ways to help. 1) Monetary donations can be made on our website (bcihrs.ca) or by cash, cheque or money order. You can also visit our online store where you can choose specific items to purchase for the horses (bcihrs.ca/#!shop--cart/cv85). 2) We are accepting donations of tack & equipment which will be sold online with all proceeds going to the horses. 3) Keep your Nature’s Fare receipts (and talk to your family and friends), 3% of all receipts is donated back to us. Receipts can be mailed, scanned and emailed (volunteering@bcihrs) or pick up can be arranged. 4) Save your cans and bottles, we accept drop offs at the Hub and in some instances we can arrange pick-up.
