The BEST Steak House and Best steak I have ever had in my whole life...was from "U R Cooks"...thank you Lisa Sanders Lynn Joselin. You walk up to the meat cooler window, select your own cuts of meat take it to a big rectangular fire grill, select your seasonings that they supply (or that you brought from home), season the meat and grill it. You cook it your self...hence UR Cooks = U (you) R (are) Cooks. You stand around the grill drinking a beer while you socialize with the person / people you came with and the other patrons while you cook. The best dining experience I ever had. Unfortunately they went out of business shortly after me and my then girlfriend went there...Daaaannnngggit. Kind of makes me wonder if they were foretelling the end of mine and hers relationship Lol. If anyone knows of a place like this in business in Texas or anywhere else...please send me a message or reply to this post...Thank You.
