The BMAD Facebook Group has been running for a number of years now and currently had over 3300 members. It has in the past been a great asset to BMAD as a method of sharing information, asking for assistance and sharing experiences both within the BMAD framework and also the greater biking community. Sadly however, in the last few months, it appears to have deteriorated into a method of criticising individuals and even BMAD itself. This is not something that it was ever intended for and consideration was given as to whether the BMAD Facebook Group should be deleted altogether, this is now in the process of happening. It is hard enough to run an organisation such as BMAD without the constant sniping by a few individuals using this facility about how they could do it better, or know best. If you have something to say then take it to the Chairman and/or Committee. It is very sad that it has come to this as we enjoyed seeing member’s photographs and comments about BMAD and biking. BMAD will continue to maintain this BMAD Page, which will allow the dissemination of information to those that ‘LIKE’ it.
