The Bahá’í Office of Public Affairs & The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) announce: A half-day Seminar on Youth & Governance Wednesday, March 19, 2014 India International Centre Annexe (Lecture Room#1) TIME: 9:00- 1.30 PM Although the majority of the population of India is below 35, the nation is trying to understand how to meaningfully integrate youth in the development and governance processes of the country. Institutions at all levels are asking how to effectively engage the youth while simultaneously meeting the multi-faceted needs of this specific population. This seminar aims to highlight the reciprocity between youth and governance processes - defined broadly as the relationships in the social world between individuals, communities, society and institutions.
