The Barossa Farmers Market has organised a cooking team to make large tubs of cooked meals for the Country Fire Service crews. They are asking for donations of food to help them make this happen. They are looking for meat of all kinds but especially beef, lamb, and chicken; fresh vegetables, tinned tomatoes, pasta or lasagna sheets, eggs, instant coffee or milo, long life milk and any kind of fresh fruit. Donations can be made at the market shed, corner of Stockwell and Nuriootpa Road, Angaston, from 10am today. Any queries call Jess, Barossa Farmers Market Manager on 0402 026 882.
