The Barrington High School - Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization would like to invite members of the East Bay Chamber of Commerce to speak to students at their monthly meetings beginning in September. The FBLA organization has over a quarter million members nationwide and its goal is to prepare students for careers in business and business-related fields as well as foster the development of leadership skills. Presentations are generally 30-45 minutes and can be on any business related topic such as; emerging business issues, entrepreneurship, accounting, healthcare administration, hospitality, creating a business plan or careers in financial services. Meetings are held in the Barrington High School Library and start at 7 p.m. The Barrington High School FBLA has also been invited to address East Bay Chamber board members so we can learn more about the organization and discuss possible future partnering opportunities. FBLA students may also be interested in volunteering with the Chamber. If you are interested in supporting the FBLA, please contact the Chamber office ([email protected]) or Kristina Chambers ([email protected]).
