The Basilica of St. John Lateran was established on November 9, 324, which is the oldest church not only in Rome but in the entire world, the mother church of Catholicism, which is the center of unity and where the church started. Fr. Richard Bolaton, Bulgar columnist says, a lot of people turn to be indolent on attending the mass and treat it not as a celebration but as an obligation. People overlook the significance of goodwill because this virtue as a quality of communal life has not been instilled in the minds of the people because of disregarding the Liturgy which is the core of life. In this life, human could basically be witnessed with a behaviour that’s self-centered because more often than not it is the vices (excessive time on career, nightlife, unwarranted carousing with wrong set of friends) that teach and swallow one’s life which put him/her in deprivation of the values taught in the Liturgy/Mass. As we grow old, our values are also developed. The more we engage in the Liturgy, the more our virtues are shaped accordingly. The more we engage in different vices, the more we position ourselves in hazards. While growing in age yearly, does your yearning of involvement in the Liturgy/Mass progress equitably?
