The Batesville Kiwanis Clubs annual Chubby Menard Pancake Day will be held from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 615 E. Main St. Tickets are $5 and are available from any Kiwanis member and at the door the day of the event. The meal includes pancakes, sausage and drink. Carry-out will be available. All proceeds from Pancake Day support local youth programs including Kiwanis Youth Football League; Key Clubs, Builders Clubs, and K-Kids at local public schools; CKI at University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville; Key Leader program; Boy Scouts; Every Child a Swimmer; college scholarships, elementary reading program and many other local projects.
