The Battle of Hill 303 and the Naktong River was the last stand - TopicsExpress

The Battle of Hill 303 and the Naktong River was the last stand for UN Forces after the invasion by nK forces in 1950. Backed into the Southeast corner of South Korea, there was literally no place left to go. The 8th Army Commander issued a simple and now famous order....Stand or Die. The First Cavalry Divisions role in this battle is one of the proudest moments in the Divisions storied history. Fighting alongside our ROK brothers and other US and UN Forces, this victory allowed General MacArthur enough time to plan and prepare for Operation CHROMITE, the famous Incheon landings. Proudly serving the FIRST TEAM! !
