The Battle of the Bluegrass Invades Tennessee This Weekend The Howes Lube/Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) heads south this weekend, Saturday May 24, to host a major event in Woodbury, TN. “We have had two great weekends of pulling and now we are anxious to head south to see how the BOB pullers compete against those great running vehicles from the Volunteer State,” said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “We are expecting great crowds, great weather and a great pull, this Saturday in Woodbury, TN.” The pull in Woodbury is being promoted by the Mooretown Volunteer Fire Department. “This is one of the many fundraisers we have to keep the emergency fire services available to the community. We have spent a lot of time working on the facility and hope to turn this event into one of the premier events in Tennessee and beyond,” said Woodbury Pull Chairman Michael George. “We have been keeping up with the BOB Series for some time and believe they can really put us on a good show, so we can’t wait until the dust starts flying this Saturday”. The pull in Woodbury, TN will take place this Saturday, May 24 at 6pm CST. The location of the event is about 5 miles south of Woodbury on Highway 53 at the Mooretown Volunteer Fire Department and the pull will take place right behind the fire station.
