The Bay County Sheriffs Office located Gregory Michael Burdeshaw, age 24, at about 1:30 this morning in Fountain.. Burdeshaw was wanted for escaping from the Work Camp on Hwy 390 while at Gulf Coast Medical Center. BCSO investigators believe the escape was planned with the help of Burdeshaws girlfriend Ivy Maines. Burdeshaw claimed to be ill yesterday while out on Work Release. He was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center and later checked himself out, cutting his ankle bracelet off and leaving it in the parking lot of GCMC. Subsequent investigation led investigators to a home in Fountain where they found Maines and Burdeshaw. Maines was arrested and charged with Aiding in the Escape of a Prisoner. The Department of Corrections will charge Burdeshaw with Escape.
