The Beating and Dance of a Silent Drum A well scripted agenda to destroy North and #Northerners, one need an eye that is not be-clouded with public fund looting, for you cant see the dance if you are part of the kleptocratic gangsters that have hijacked the Nigerian sphere. An ear that is free of scripted lies and propaganda, an ear that listens to truth from where ever it comes from is needed to hear the beating of the drum. An understanding heart that is free from mundane and carnal desires is needed to harness the hearing and the seeing to cogitate and analyse the dance steps and the body language, to decipher the hidden agenda. The killing of the pioneer Northern leaders ( Sardauna,Balewa , Maimalari and others) in the year Jan 15 1966, the assasination of head of state (#Murtala R Muhammad), the suspicious death of Head of state (Sani #Abatcha ), the rumoured poisoning of President (Umaru Musa YarAdua), the re-emergence of the BokoHaram insurgency after the death the of YarAdua, the multiple explosion of bombs in Churches, the attacks on resourced individuals of Northern extraction. The attacks of Emirs (Shehu of Borno, Emir of Kano), the snipper killing of Islamic Scholars (Jaafar in Kano, Albani in Zaria) the slaughtering of the students in schools, the abduction of girls, the attacks on villages and towns and mass slaughter of people (Faskari in Katsina and Zamfara), the coined CattleRustlers, FulaniHerdsmen, the profiling of Northern Leaders and Elders as sponsors, financiers and corroborators of BokoHaram, the downstreaming of Northerners from government, the balkanization of Nigerian citizens as the people of the same faith and them. The attempt to divide the #North through sponsored agitation for middleBelt region out of the North, the profiling of #HausaFulani as the born to rule people, the use of illegitimate coercion (bombing of public places) the use of religious sentiments to garner sympathy votes during election are all part of the silent (war) drum, can you hear the beating of the drum? ***A Theory*** Now that the Igboland and government of (Imo state) is to screen all Northerners in the state, to be issued an identity card before engaging in their respective legitimate trade, is it not an automatic staturation of Northerners as foreigners in states outside region ? If this come to pass, then Northerners are no more enjoying the constitutional provisions of Section 42(1)(a), 1999(as amended). But let it be known that what is good for the goose is good for the gander, we are advising the Igbo state governments to drop the idea of dis-citizening the Northerners, otherwise with time the Northern states too will have no option than to start playing the same cleansing game, stereotyping, profiling, arresting, rationalising of Northerners in the name of precautionary measures is not a monopoly of the Igboland. Should the game start?
