The Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation is in the midst of it annual campaign. We would be ever so grateful if you would consider a donation to help us continue the work of being the countys historical society. We maintain archives and are looking toward getting blinds or curtains to protect our historical records. We continue to run our Windows Through History program for girls 7 to 14. This year, our programs will educate girls about food, clothing and other aspects of the Eastern Woodland Indians, Frontier Beaver County, Lewis and Clark and Vicary. We maintain herb and perennial gardens with plants that were grown in the 1800s. We have Beaver County History Days, Vicary Day, Applebutter Fest, Evening of Tales and Haunting and Christmas at the Mansion. Each year, we improve the Vicary Mansion, where the foundation is housed.
