The Bermuda Golf Association would like to invite all players and supporters of golf in Bermuda to come to Port Royal Golf Course this Saturday, September 14th at 5:30pm to mark the official start of the local golfing season. This informal event, to be held in partnership with the Bermuda Junior Golf Association (BJGA), is intended to provide the membership with an opportunity to learn more about the programs and initiatives planned for the upcoming season. In particular, we will be taking the opportunity to introduce Gary Venning in his new role as Golf Administrator and providing information on the 2013/14 National Order of Merit. Please note that the BJGA will be holding open registration for new junior members on the driving range from 3:30pm to 5.00pm, in addition to reintroducing its merit testing program and presenting its tournament player awards from last season, so we encourage everyone to come up to Port Royal early and show your support for the island’s young golfers of tomorrow.
