The Best CHH Albums & Artists of 2014 Intro: 2014 another good year for Christian rap, not as good as 2013 in terms of classic albums but it still did well. Only thing I need to get out the way. Mc Jin, by now we’ve all written him off. You probably didn’t check out his latest album, I know because I did the same thing. I felt like I been waiting on something classic to happen since he joined Christian rap and with every project I was disappointed. The expectations were high, his ability had been seen on a global platform but he just wasn’t being the pizza man on his tracks. Then something just told me to peep it, just one more chance… and this 14:59 album concept changed how CHH will see Mc Jin forever. So I had to sit down with my team as I consulted the controversial outcome. Sales do not automatically mean an Album is better than another; sales can be an indication of where you are in your career as an artist. A classic album takes you to a place only pure lyricism and storytelling can. It awakens a joy, memories and a feeling that feels a lot like love but with a deeper passion. We had to find that album and we’re glad to say that we did and we encourage you to give it a listen when you’re done with this article. Lecrae did it again, this time it was not a Grammy award but the number 1 album on the planet. Then there was the five fingers of death freestyle interview on Sway in the morning. To top it all again the Crae haters were silenced with a very solid album, he is indeed an Anomaly (pun intended). There’s also another cat that we cannot allow the 116 light to over shadow. Th3 Saga, the brother has emerged on the battle scene as the first solid Christian battle rapper. Brand new on the scene and already he has found himself on the biggest battle platforms. He has only one loss in his professional career, and we proud to say that it was to the number one battle rapper in the game; T-top who won the UFF for 2014. This is a loss that is a statement to the caliber of Th3 Saga, we as the Christian community would love to take notice of the new grounds Th3 Saga has taken captive for the kingdom. 2014 has indeed been a big year for Christian Rap, may 2015 be another ground breaking one.
