You will get a good hair cut when…. • You communicated with the stylist. A great haircut doesn’t start with scissors, it starts with the initial consultation. Be specific with your wants and needs from the very beginning to avoid disappointment later. Pictures of what you want will help the stylist visualize what you want. Pictures are especially helpful when you want to change your whole look but can even be helpful if you only want a trim. Our stylist will examine your face shape and hair texture and will offer recommendations. At Untangled Salon we work together as a team with our clients. • You can pretty much re-create it at home. Later, when you are at home, you should be able to recreate the hair style yourself. We want you to look your best at all times with your new cut, not just when you walk out the door. So, make sure you let your stylist know how much time you allot yourself for hair styling so the cut they give you can be managed in that time frame. This is also true for products. Some clients are more comfortable using more products that others. You should be able to style your cut once you get home by using the amount of product you are comfortable with. • Its versatile. Do you like to wear your curly hair straight sometimes? Or do you like those straight lock to bounce with curl? A good hair cut should allow you to do either. • Your friends compliment you without mentioning the haircut itself. A good hair cut should highlight YOU and make you look younger, prettier or fresher. You friends should notice this but may not be able to pinpoint the reason.
