The BiH War Crimes Case Map is an interactive tool developed by the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the context of its activities aimed at enhancing transparency and public trust in the processing of war crimes. The content of the Map is entirely based on publicly available judicial documents. The BiH War Crimes Case Map contains up-to-date information on war crimes cases adjudicated by courts in BiH since 2003. It comprises unofficial accounts of final and binding verdicts, summarized and compiled by the OSCE Mission to BIH, as well as geotagged data relating to the cases. The content is entirely based on publicly available judicial documents. The interactive Case Map enables users to search cases by both the location (municipality) of the crimes and the seat of the courts. The tool is designed for a wide audience, comprising not only journalists, civil activists, academics and policymakers, but also the public at large and anyone with an interest in the judicial processing of war crimes cases in BiH. With this project, the OSCE Mission to BiH intends to contribute to a better understanding of the work done by the judicial and prosecutorial authorities in BiH in relation to war crimes. warcrimesmap.oscebih.org/
