The Bible acknowledges angels and heavenly beings, and describes - TopicsExpress

The Bible acknowledges angels and heavenly beings, and describes realms of Heaven, not just a single place (like the universe could describe the material realm). Why was it decided that no transcendent being but God is worthy of worship? Is it because only God is perfect, and the existence of heavenly beings is, like human existence, only possible because they share in Gods divine nature? But what if Taoism is right about the nature of the Tao, and hence God can only exist through participation in it? If that is possible -- and I think it is possible -- then why is only God worthy of worship? Here is where reliance on a single revealed text comes to its dead-end. (I am sure the very fact that I am asking questions like these will infuriate some of the materialists on my feed.) (I will note here that I understand that Catholics pray to angels but do not worship them.)
