Genesis 1:2 names the Spirit as participating in creation. Gods Spirit often rested on numerous people to equip them to do special work for him. Provide scriptural examples of this. For example, in Judges 15:14, God gave his Spirit to Samson to equip him to defeat the Philistines.2.Highlight its deity. According to the Bible Knowledge Commentary, the Holy Spirit plays a distinctive role from the Father and the Son. Acts 5:3-4 demonstrates that God and the Holy Spirit are the same. Peter tells Ananias that he has lied to the Holy Spirit, and then later says he has lied to God. Peter is talking about the same person, not two different people. According to 2 Corinthians 3:18, the Spirits primary role is to transform the believer into the image of Christ. The Spirit lives inside the Christians heart and helps him to make Godly decisions. Romans 8:26-27 describes the Holy Spirit as an intercessor who knows what is in a believers heart and prays for him when he doesnt have the words to pray for himself.
