The Bible gives us six building blocks for constructing long-term relationships: 1. I must be CONSIDERATE. Friendliness bears fruit for a man Pr.19:22 2. I must be CONFIDENTIAL. A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret. Pr. 11:13 3. I must be CANDID. An honest answer is the sign of a true friendship. Pr.24:26 4. I must be CONSTRUCTIVE. As iron sharpens iron, so a friend shapes a friend. Pr. 27:17 5. I must be CONSISTENT. A friend loves at ALL times, and a brother is born for adversity. Pr. 17:17 6. I must be COMMITTED. Some friendships do not last, but some friends are more LOYAL than brothers. Pr. 18:24 The point is obvious: You will attract whatever you are!
