The Bible says: The Lord answered [Isaacs] prayer, and his wife - TopicsExpress

The Bible says: The Lord answered [Isaacs] prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, Why is this happening to me? So she went to enquire of the Lord. The Lord said to her, Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger. (Genesis 25:21-23) Even when your vision is born of God, youll experience times of both faith and fear. You can have clarity in one area, yet experience confusion in another. What should you do when this happens? Do what Rebekah did: take it to the Lord in prayer. She asked, Why is this happening to me? Question: Are you experiencing fear and foreboding in the middle of your success? Are you wondering, Whats wrong with me? Things are going well, so why am I anxious? Youve achieved some success and things are starting to come together after a long, hard struggle. But instead of feeling happy, youre disappointed because youre not experiencing the joy and fulfilment you expected; youre actually worrying about what might go wrong in the future. In every success story youll find chapters of uncertainty. And when it happens, you must bring your turmoil to the Lord. Ask Him for help with the inner conflict youre experiencing, and to give you peace concerning the vision Hes given you. And remember - no matter what you achieve, its ability to satisfy you is limited. No amount of success can ever take Gods place in your life. - - The Word For Today (UCB)
