The Bible says touch not my (Gods) anointed and do my prophets no harm. We live in days when people are too quick to talk against ministers of God who they think have made a mistake. Harming a servant of God can be through speech. Do you remember Moses and Miriam story? One of the repercussions of this sin of slander is that the people who commit it can get leprosy. Leprosy is a general term for different kinds of misfortunes and calamities. Slander is character assassination meant to destroy rather than to rectify. The best way to cause restoration may be by praying for a person, not starting to despise or talk against them. If you do not agree with your spiritual leader, instead of allowing satan to use you to slander his/her name, please pray for them. Jehovah has never changed and leprosy is always around the corner.
