The Big Photo Show represents the best work of the members of the Coastal Photographer’s Guild. In its fifth year, The Big Photo Show is the largest photography exhibit in Glynn County. The exhibit will be on display from July 2 – 27 at the Glynn Art Association Visual Arts Center, 529 Beachview Drive, St. Simons Island. Admission is free. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. Prints will be presented by a number of award-winning photographers, serious amateurs and more advanced members. Photographs will be grouped into five categories: nature; people, including portraits; landscape; creative digital and open. Entries will be available for purchase with a portion of each sale benefitting the Glynn Art Association. The Coastal Photographer’s Guild [CPG] has grown from 4 to more than 80 members in a very short time. The program has steadily improved, as have the photographic skills of its members.
