The Bishop of North Ankole diocese Rt. Rev. John Muhanguzi has confirmed that Buremba Church University is due to open in south western district of Kiruhura. Rt. Rev. Muhanguzi disclosed this in a meeting of board governors and the community at Buremba Archdeaconry that Buremba Church University will commence in May next year 2014. Muhanguzi confirmed to the meeting that the university will start at the stage of tertiary institution with over 10 phacalities including diploma in Agriculture, Veterinary, Business administration, Nursing, Counseling and guidance, Education, Information technology, Water engineering among others.
