The Bleeding Hearts benefit 8 Nov 2014 On Saturday, 8th November, Sydney band “The Bleeding Hearts” played a benefit gig at the Harold Park Hotel, Glebe in support of Peter Greste. The Bleeding Hearts is a Sydney-based rock covers band, playing about 6 times a year mainly in Sydneys inner west pubs. The band donates all of their door proceeds to progressive environmental, development and health charities, and human rights causes. The band felt strongly about the injustice done to Peter. This was the second benefit played by the band for Peter and in total they raised over $1200 for the Free Peter Greste fund.
