The Bling Ring, directed by Sofia Coppola, is an interesting, if detached, look at how celebrity obsession lead a group of teens to break the boundaries of ethical behavior and steal from the famous faces in their fashion magazines simply so they can have a sliver of fame via bragging rights. Will you ever care enough about the characters to worry about their inevitable incarceration? No. But you might find the conclusions that can be drawn from their behaviors interesting, if not a bit troubling. 6/10
