The Blue Jays Varsity lost a 4-2 game in seven innings on Wednesday at Weston after surrendering the lead in the sixth inning. Horseman reached base three times in the game for the Jays and he singled in the first and fifth innings. Stephenson walked four, struck out 12, and allowed four runs while pitching all 7 innings. The bottom of the first saw the team take an early lead, 2-0. The Jays threat began with a single by Luke. A stolen base then moved Luke from second to third. Guthrie singled, plating Luke. The Blue Jays pushed more runs across when Lambrecht scored on an error. Archie never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning, scoring one run on an error.
